Heading to summer

With our spring show season over it is time to start looking at those summer projects to start the fall season with new and exciting jewelry. I still have a few orders to get filled from the last show but those should be done in the next day or so. Also need to setup more samples of Dyenamic Infusion for our glass jewery.

Gem & Mineral Show

This is the weekend for our home rock & mineral clubs annual show. You can find jewelry, gemstones, minerals, & fossils there.
Our featured exhibit this year is a 33 foot long Duckbill Dinosaur, compliments Treasures of the Earth from Hollsopple, PA. Michael & Barbra Sincak will have an adult and children's bone dig  that will benefit the local Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, with help from the volunteers here in Cedar Rapids, IA. Proceeds that the club makes will go to fund the 2 scholarships that we give to Cornell collage and the University of Iowa .  The location is Teamsters Union Hall, 5000 "j" St SW  Just off I-380 at 33rd Ave. You can get more information at www.cedarvalleyrockclub.org  or call Marv Houg at 319-364-2868, Sharon Sonnleitner at 319-396-4016, or Tom Whitllatch at 319-551-3870.

"Dye"namic Infusion is a process to put your favorite picture on glass or ceramic. We carry several different styles and sizes for you to choose from. You could choose to have special accent tiles made for kitchen back slash or bathroom wall or counter top. Lapidary & Mineral classes

     I am now offering 2 classes each week. Monday and Thursday after 4P till 9P. You are welcome during any of the tome frame setup. We will learn about building jewelry from start to finish, through several different methods.

My new web site

Just started my new web site just after Christmas. I also have been posting at Facebook for the Cedar Valley Rock and Mineral Society. I'm trying to post something at least once a week. I am currently working on filling orders for jewelry that I have gotten ovet the last few months.
